Dr. Tracy Collins is a board certified psychiatrist who has been in practice for over 25 years treating both adolescents and adults. While she is an experienced general psychiatrist treating all major mood and anxiety disorders, she also sub-specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and women during pregnancy and post-partum with mental illness. She is also experienced in working with chronic pain coupled with mental disorders.

She is a native Philadelphian who graduated from the Philadelphia High School for Girls in 1980, and went on to receive her B.A. and M.S. degrees from Penn State University. She attended medical school at Penn State College of Medicine graduating in 1990 and began medical training  in OB-GYN at Albert Einstein Health Care Network. But after realizing she truly enjoyed working with mentally ill patients, she decided to transfer into Psychiatry and went on to be elected Chief Resident of the program, completing her residency in 1994.

Dr. Collins has practiced in both the private and public sectors of psychiatry throughout her career, having worked 15 years in Phoenix, AZ, returning to Pennsylvania in 2012. With her strong knowledge of medicine, coupled with recognizing the importance of self-care, good health, nutrition and spiritual well being, she has always taken a comprehensive approach in treating her patients.  In addition, her keen respect and interest in other cultures and religions has allowed her to work with individuals of varying sociocultural and spiritual backgrounds as well as travel the world to experience them firsthand. Due to her lifelong passion for music and the arts, she has been actively involved in promoting arts and arts education in underserved communities in Philadelphia and has returned to performing in both church and community choirs. She also fosters creativity in promoting healing in her patients.
