Lynn Harrison, Psy.D. is a PA Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Harrison earned her doctoral degree from La Salle University with a child and family therapy concentration. She specializes in therapy with children, adolescents, and their families, as well as conducting psychological assessments.
Dr. Harrison completed her clinical internship at Astor Services for Children and Families in Rhinebeck, New York, where she provided trauma-focused therapy utilizing play therapy, cognitive behavioral approaches, and evidence-based treatments. Through her post-doctoral residency, Dr. Harrison gained experience working in an intensive school-based therapeutic program, where middle-school students were provided with group therapy, individual therapy, teacher consultation, and crisis intervention outside of school hours.
Dr. Harrison works with clients ages 5-21. She specializes in childhood trauma, emotional and behavioral difficulties, non-suicidal self-injury, suicidal ideation, and depression. Dr. Harrison is committed to using evidence-based techniques combined with a collaborative approach that focuses on fostering strength and resiliency and working towards building a life that is worth living. Dr. Harrison has specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for adolescents and their families. She has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families utilizing this approach through individual, group, and family therapeutic modalities.
