I am a licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania and earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) with a concentration in Couples and Family Therapy and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology (MS) from Chestnut Hill College. In addition to working with personality and identity, depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, I have also worked in substance abuse treatment and co-occurring disorders since 2010. I have been formally trained in Psychodynamic therapy, Family Systems therapy, and evidenced based approaches to trauma and management of substance use.
In therapy, my passion truly lies in helping you put words to the previously unspoken. I utilize a primarily psychodynamic orientation and believe therapy should be a space for you to explore all possibilities from a safe but engaging environment. My approach aims to provide insight and compassion while offering the skills necessary to transform those discoveries into meaningful change. Together, we can understand and work through those feelings, thoughts, and experiences that create so much tension in your daily life.
>My postdoctoral training, which included management of chronic health issues and substance use disorders, was completed at the AIDS Care Group in Sharon Hill, PA. I completed my doctoral internship at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. I have further training from Haverford College CAPS, Penndel Mental Health, and forensic assessment with Dr. Bob Gordon, PhD. Finally,I have also worked in inpatient substance use and mental health treatment facilities.
