I am a licensed clinical social worker, LCSW, in the state of Pennsylvania. I graduated from Bryn Mawr College with my Master of Social Service in May of 2018. My education fostered a critical awareness of diversity and the social and cultural forces that impact individuals, families, organizations, and communities. My experience in providing individual therapy and case management has helped me to understand and apply knowledge of human behavior in multiple social, cultural, and economic contexts.
In October 2018, I eagerly accepted a position as a therapist at an adult partial hospitalization program. I gained experience working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, grief and trauma. I had the privilege of running process groups and psychoeducation groups with a variety of people. They have taught me how resilient people are and that even the worst traumas can be overcome when you allow yourself to be vulnerable and share your story in a safe environment. I also continued to work as an independent contractor at Growth Opportunity Center following my graduation in May 2018. I accepted a position as a full-time employee in June 2022.
I have had the opportunity to learn from various supervisors, including those at The Growth Opportunity Center, with different theoretical backgrounds including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral therapy, attachment-based therapy, and motivational interviewing. What they have all taught me is the importance of human connection. I know that life can be challenging and sometimes draining, but I hope to provide you with an experience where you feel seen, heard and empowered. I aim to see a person fully and I want to hear their stories and life experiences. I hope to guide you in your journey in growth and healing in a compassionate and non-judgmental environm
