Jeanne DiVincenzo, PsyD

As a clinical psychologist, Dr. DiVincenzo specializes in treating adults and young adults, with the goal of helping them transform their difficulties into lifelong change that will benefit them and their relationships. Her style is collaborative and empathic, and is based on building a safe and trusting environment in which clients can better understand themselves, their relationships, and their behaviors. She believes in helping clients build a foundation for future growth by working to gain insight about areas in their lives or within themselves that limit their development and satisfaction. At the same time, she helps her clients develop “tools” for managing difficult emotions and situations that may prevent them from meeting their full potential. She is trained in mindfulness stress reduction and often incorporates that into her client work, also providing mindfulness groups to the community and institutions. Dr. DiVincenzo has experience treating a comprehensive range of mental health difficulties in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including: anxiety disorders, women’s issues, depression, bipolar disorder, coping with loss and physical illness, interpersonal difficulties, and managing workplace stress.

As a consultant, Dr. DiVincenzo works with business, institutions, and in academic environments to assist with mediation, mindfulness programs, stress reduction, faculty development, wellness programs, leadership development, college counseling programs, bullying, and sexual violence education. She has presented workshops and presentations on a variety of topics, including mindfulness in the workplace, drug and alcohol awareness, teaching the “Millennial” generation, learning and studying, diversity and student mentoring, and wellness.

Dr. DiVincenzo is Managing Director of Growth Opportunity Center. She was a faculty member in the Doctor of Psychology program at Chestnut Hill College, was also director of the Pre-Doctoral Internship program, as well as the College’s community mental health training clinic. Her phone number is 215-947-8654 x279.
