Dr. Tisot is excited to join the Growth Opportunity Center practice. She is a Pennsylvania licensed psychologist and a state and nationally certified school psychologist who has worked with children and young adults on the autism spectrum for the past eight years, as well as children with various other behavioral, academic, and emotional issues.

Dr. Tisot received her Master’s degree in Psychological Services from the University of Pennsylvania and her Doctorate in School Psychology from Temple University. She also completed a certificate in school neuropsychology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychology.

Dr. Tisot specializes in school neuropsychological assessment and psychological/psychoeducational assessment. In addition to assessment, Dr. Tisot provides individual and family counseling services, with a special focus on autism spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, and depression. She conceptualizes cases from a developmental perspective, utilizes a solution-focused approach, and believes in meeting clients where they are. Dr. Tisot incorporates elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, relaxation training, and structural family therapy. Dr. Tisot enjoys working with children and families, helping them navigate personal development and cope with life’s challenges.
