Trish Miron, PsyD, ADTR
Trish provides individual, family, and couples therapy and specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Early Childhood and Mood and Anxiety Disorders. She is on the Autism Spectrum Service’s team at GOC offering individual and family therapy and specialized psychological assessments.
Trish is a Licensed Psychologist, a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist and is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In therapy, Trish provides a developmental, strength-based and integrative approach, incorporating psychodynamic, behavioral and cognitive behavioral principals.
In addition to working at Growth Opportunity Center, Trish works as a Licensed Psychologist at Devereux Children’s Behavioral Health Center (Mapleton/Gables) and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Drexel University (Creative Arts in Therapy Department). Prior to joining Growth Opportunity Center, Trish served as Clinical Director at the Center for Autistic Children, and was Principal of The Nexus School (private school for children on the autism spectrum). Trish also wrote “Circle of Devotion” in Voices from the Spectrum (Ariel & Naseef, eds.) and “Creating a Support Network for Individuals with High-functioning Autism and Asperger’s Disorder” inCounseling Special Populations on a College Campus (Lippincott, ed.). She has also presented on topics related to autism spectrum disorders at numerous conferences and special events.
