When your child is struggling or hurting, nothing feels more important than getting him back on the path to wholeness. I am a Licensed Clinical Developmental psychologist who understands this very well. Since 1998, I have worked with children with a variety of developmental, behavioral and emotional challenges that interfere with their success at home, school and among their peers. When working with children and families, my approach is supportive and practical. I pull from the fields of family therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, Collaborative Problem-Solving (CPS) and mindfulness to tailor my approach to match the situation and client goals. I have a background in Early Intervention and welcome the youngest patients up to about age 12. I also have experience in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In addition to individual and family counseling, I am qualified to do psychological testing, and I develop and run groups for children to increase their self-regulation and social competence skills.
